Dominique Johnson Indicted for Attempted Murder

UPPER MARLBORO, MD (September 25, 2021) – Yesterday a Prince George’s County Grand Jury returned a four-count indictment against Dominique Johnson, age 21, for the attempted murder of a 21-year-old victim during an incident that occurred the day before eight-year-old Peyton Evans was murdered.


The indictment charges Johnson with attempted murder, first degree assault, use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime and reckless endangerment.


According to the indictment on Monday, August 23, 2021, Johnson assaulted and deliberately attempted to kill and murder the victim with premeditation.


An indictment contains allegations that a defendant has committed a crime. Every defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
