Office of the State's Attorney for Prince George's County

The investigative unit assists the State’s Attorney’s office by conducting interviews of witness and defendants. Investigators have full police powers and able to make arrest. Investigators initiate investigation of complaints and allegations brought to the Office of the State’s Attorney for filings of criminal charges and prosecutions. Provides security for the States Attorney and Assistant State’s Attorney as necessary. The investigative unit is responsible for the approval of Disinterment for those wishing this service.
